RE: XyWin and Win2K paths

An (a)eon of internet-time ago, Paul Ambos pointed out that XyWin had to
be on the path, and had this to say about the method of doing this in
Win2K:

> If Win2K . . . is the same as WinNT . . . you instead have
> to enter this in Control Panel : System : Environment, where
> the User Variable to be added is PATH and the Value is the
> complete pathname to where XW.EXE and DICT.SPL are located.

I've only got around to doing this now. It works splendidly. (Thanks,
Paul!) Incidentally, in Win2K it's Control Panel | System Properties |
Advanced | Environment variables | System variables | Path

Oh, Xy-irrelevant tip o' the day: Never lend your copy of *The Win2K
Unleashed for Dummies Superbible, Special Edition* to anybody. (Ditto
for any other OS of comparable complexity.) I did, and the fellow is
always apologetic and about to return it. If I'd had it at hand, I
probably wouldn't have had to ask this nitwit question.
