Yes, but in 3 it's often fatally buggy. Handle with care. And, in
3, you've got to remember to turn it off (BC es 0XC ) before EXiting
the program.

Works here. Either saved to a Save/Get assigned to a key, or
assigned directly to a key with nn=BCc,a,XC.

What version of Xy4 are you using? I recall having problems with
this in Signature, and possibly in early releases of Xy4. It may be
a simple matter of upgrading to v4.018.
