Xy on 1 disk

Soon I'll start work at a new job and I'd like to take Xy 4.0 DOS
with me for fast text entry. I want to fit it one disk. I could
do a new installation with the factory disks, but would it be
easier to just copy the files I need to a blank disk, then modify
the startup.int file so that it points to the files on the floppy?

Second question: at my school they've put in a LAN workspace with
several computers running various programs. Would I be able to
print from Xy if I "shelled out" from their programs (such as
WordPerfect)? to their local drive?

And an unrelated problem involving table of contents extraction:
when I start the extraction from *one* particular master toc and
the sub-files I get the message "preparing to pring, please wait"
and I wait, and wait, and wait. So far this has gone on for a full
hour without actually printing the toc. This has only happened with
this one file.
