And some of us could not live without it. After saying you do not want to
start another ideological discussion, why do you then turn around and do
exactly that?

 ...and that is why you want to leave the autocorrect beep on, so you can
keep an eye at what is going on. And if you really have so many Teh's to
deal with, just remove that particular line from the .spl file.
Why criticise a feature on the basis that you use it incorrectly? Strange.
