Good pickup Harry! I commonly use (DB7) for debug mode, but quite honestly have not used (DB16)... if I had, I might have been able to save you a load of headaches. Keep in mind, though, the (WA=) default. If you do a lot of programming, setting this to "0" can save time. Regards, Jim
