I have installed them both and tested OEDD-Helpkey and everything works
very smoothly. I can't observe any clear difference but the Xy4 lookup
could be a little quicker. I have not changed oedd.frm.
Will I need to update U2 with OEDD.FRM every time a new U2 comes along?

Yes, that has solved the problem.
Thanks for the feedback, Paul. Tonight I tweaked OEDD.a3x and added a
new Windows EXEcutable, OEDD.exe. Same URL as before:
