I get the same error when I load GS_A4.PR4. I don't know what BP refers to,
either, but you can comment it out. (Kari may be right that it's a typo for
BT -- although 82 doesn't seem a likely value for BoTtom margin.)

To change the default font on the fly, command D UF=fontname on the CMline.
To make the change persistent, set DF UF= in SETTINGS.DFL. Alternatively,
you can add a DF UF= statement to GS_A4.PR4, assuming that it makes sense
for you to bind that default font setting to that printer file.

I've never had the installer wipe out my vDosPlus customization and I'm
puzzled how that could happen (not saying it couldn't). One safe way to use
the installer to upgrade to the latest (last) version of vDosPlus is to
direct the installation to a fresh directory, then copy over your
customized CONFIG and AUTOEXEC files to the new location. Depending on how
old your current version is, you may have to tweak some settings, but
you'll have the latest & greatest.
