I hope that I get a couple more years out of my 21" CRT. It cost plenty, and
weighs in at 85 lbs. ! I think I'd need to start pumping iron, if I ever hope
to lift it off the desk.

That being said, I think it likely that this monitor's eventual successor will
be an LCD type. Do your comments apply to all of them, or are there significant
differences re this issue ? The ones I've been most impressed with so far (that
are not _too_ ridiculously priced) have included the ViewSonic VP-18, and
another one from IBM the model of which I can't recall just now. (Once you've
used a large monitor, you don't even want to consider downsizing from that.)
