Memories of the matter are indistinct, but I recall that printing Courier (adobe Courier Std) with PS in xy3 would default to another font, when Courtier Std was separately installed.  De-installing it allowed for PS Courier -- sort of.  What happens now is, if you print to screen and print the pdf, you'll get Courier Std.  But if you print direct to the printer, using EM's routine in vdosplus, you'll get what appears to be execrable New Courier.  Why the discrepancy, no idea.

You mentioned that you hadn’t tried printing with the PostScript driver. I meant to get in touch with you earlier about this. By default, running it in my DOSBox-X app on both my Windows machine and my Mac system, that driver produces output in Zapf Chancery, when presumably the default is intended to be Courier. I don’t know if that’s a fault of my system or the effect of a setting in the driver.

In every other way, this is a terrific to have. Thank you!
